How a chauffeur booking works
Send us the date, the pickup address, how many people are riding and what the plan is. Chauffeur rides are booked as a request: we confirm the driver and the price with you before anything is charged, and payment is then handled securely through Stripe, so card details never touch this website. For evenings with a set time — a show, a dinner reservation, a wedding timeline — tell us the time you need to be there and we work the pickup back from it.
Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before your ride begins, with a full refund. Inside 48 hours, contact us and we will do our best to rebook; refunds inside that window are at our discretion. The full wording is on our policies page.
What people book an Outer Banks chauffeur for
The Manteo evening. An evening at The Lost Colony, or dinner on the Manteo waterfront, is the classic chauffeur night: everyone rides together, nobody parks, and nobody drives the causeway home late. Our Manteo and Roanoke Island guide has the rest of the day.
The Hatteras day trip. If nobody wants to spend the day behind the wheel, a chauffeur turns the long drive down NC-12 to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse into part of the vacation: no parking hunt, no tired driver on the way home, and everyone watches the scenery instead of the center line. Outer Banks weddings run out of rental houses, not hotels, which is why the transportation is the part that goes wrong: the wedding party is in one house, the guests are in six others, and the venue is forty minutes away. Chauffeur service from Corolla to Hatteras
Any address on the Outer Banks, north to south: Corolla, Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, Manteo and Wanchese on Roanoke Island, and Hatteras Island through Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, Avon, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras village. Day trips to Hatteras and Ocracoke are booked as trips, not point-to-point rides; say where you are staying and where you want to go, and confirm the plan covers it when you request.
Chauffeur, rental car, or golf cart?
A chauffeur is for the days and nights when driving is the problem. For the rest of the week, a golf cart in the driveway covers the neighborhood, and a locally owned rental car delivered for the excursion days covers the rest. Most groups mix all three and pay for a vehicle only on the days they use one.
